Early Winter Ride in my FC 150 Jeep

Nice clear Upstate NY winter day, so I took the old Willys Jeep FC out for a quick ride into town. Let it warm up a bit, and ran great. With the new thermostat, the temperature gauge needle is now midway between hot and cold. So my guess is the old thermo was not working properly.
